Friday evening club
Since 1978 the Queen Elizabeth II Silver Jubilee Activities Centre has been the home of a social club for local people with learning disabilities. Between 7:00pm and 9:30pm each Friday the club meets for activities like badminton and skittles. Outings, parties and discos are regularly organised and new members are welcome.
The organisers, who are all volunteers, provide a programme of additional activities that include foreign travel, theatre and concert visits!

Multi sports club
Not really anything to do with QE2 Activity Centre - except the club and its members keep turning up on our doorstep in one guise or another.
They do some great stuff including tennis, rugby, athletics, basketball, cricket, badminton, golf and football.
Plus they do regular activity days at the QE2 Activity Centre.
You can find out more by going to their website or emailing Susan Perrin
